Only one spot(ash) giving heat and this is enough for all area?
That's looking mostly slow cooking style I guess,
and must be keep close mostly the lid for keeping hot. This is looking not for; sish kebab, lamb single rib eye, chicken wings etc.

Is that good at those keywords?
small parts+ quick reeponse+grill crispy+never flame touch but high heat

2 expensive going to something else. My mom saved up 2 million dollars on a low pay job. This would be something she would never buy – me too. Going to stay with a Weber charcoal grill for a $100

Had a Kamado Joe for 7 years and use it almost every day. Never eaten anything from a pellet grill ever. Costco traeger shows guy always trying to get me to buy one. Digital temps, apps etc. sure seems easy but ignorance of a benefit i'm missing out on. Would want build quality but you are going to pay for that. Maybe ignorance is bliss and if it isn't broke don't fix it.

Bought my Rec Tec 700 Bull 2.5 years ago and never looked back. Also 6 year warranty is awesome. My daytime job is a Pitmaster at a local BBQ restaurant and my Rec Tec is my home version.

This has been a great upgrade from my original vertical charcoal smoker MyBest.Kitchen Don’t have to continuously fight to keep it on just set it and forget it. Haven’t really checked to see how accurate the temperature on the unit is but it has been a doing a great job so far at smoking the food I have tried out.

Im between the Yoder-Smoker 640s and the Pit Boss 1600. Does anyone knows the 640s and if it is worth 3x more than the pit boss? I want a smoker and a grill on the same and sensors + easy to clean is a bonus. The only thing the puts me off on the 1600 is the extra grill plate but I guess I can take the second one off so I have more space.
