Subscribed after Noreen mentioned you on her channel recently. I just made this tonight but substituted duck for the ground beef since we have quite a few birds in the freezer and need to use them up. My family loved this soup and requested it be added to our regular meal plan. Thanks so much for sharing the recipe.

Hey, Wolfie! That looks perfect for a chilly day, alright 🙂 Very basic and straightforward to make, with readily available ingredients (or whatever you have on hand), too. (for that elusive pronunciation, think: "WUSS- ter-shear" <lol>)
If you didn't have that beef base, could you substitute some bouillon cubes and some Gravy Master instead? Thanks so very much for your tasty recipes and thumbs up, your now-chilly buddy, Norfolk Joe 🙂
    PS It's "cold" in Norfolk . . . 60F and 61% RH . . . Dayem!

Thought you might like to know that the link you provided in the information to print the recipe takes you to a home made chili recipe. Nothing against that, but just in case others don't look before working on it! 🙂

Ok so the flavor comes from not draining any of the juice from the cans of vegetables. This looks interesting… never tried veg/beef soup. I would like to try this with some ground turkey instead. Wonder if it'll taste as good. And i'll try 2 cups of water and 1 cup of veggie broth. This looks good Larry. Ima try this before the warm season comes around

This bowl of soup looks so delicious. It has that glossy beefy vegetable look that I love and reminisce about. I'm a big fan of Denny's vegetable beef soup, and this so reminds me of it. I am so going to make this for dinner tomorrow with some grilled cheese. I will let you know my thoughts (I've made several of your recipes so I know this will be awesome)! Thanks!! ?

Now thats a great quick meal that will do double duty as lunches for work or home …

Favorite of mine as far as quick eats is to microwave uncle bens brown rice, while cooking I slice up half a smoked sausage and pan cook, then add sausage, rice and pace brand thick and chunky hot salsa….. 10 minute meal. Better next day in leftover lunches…..
