Yes! looks yummy. I'm relatively new to your channel and definitely enjoyed the throw back vibe. Thanks for sharing
It'd be like watching them with the director's commentary. I'm totally here for that 😀
Hey if you ever want some cartoon style art for your channel or website, let me know
Love it. Thank you.
Hmmm… not gloppy enough. I don’t want my East Coast chow mein takeout-level gloppy; I want it summer-camp-cafeteria-level gloppy. It should solidify at room temperature.
I don't see anything wrong with this video. Whats the big deal? Right to the point, without being opinionated, and stupid "sound byte" gimmicks .
I stopped the video at about 2:22 because I could tell this was a FAKE/COUNTERFEIT TWP video!! The REAL Larry always has French Nails!!!!!!!!! Now, what have YOU done with our beloved host?
My first introduction to your channel was the Bourbon Chicken recipe! Keep em' coming!
Larry, this video was fine. Whats to laugh at
Thats just thick chicken soup on rice lol.
Heya! You should review the Ore Ida “Just crack an egg” little scramble kits! I’ve found them in Walmart near the eggs.
It still holds up. I voted yes for Throwback Thursday's! Thank you for delivering like a Chinese takeout joint.
This video isn't bad at all! Simple and easy to follow.
Is that the 5 dollar wok you can find at Walmart?
“A sign that even Helen Keller disapproved of” ????
No garlic or ginger?
I like Throwback Thursday! The commentary adds to the memory.
One of the things I remember, is you were always running out of space in whatever fry pan or saucepan you were using!
I live in the northeast and they also add bean sprouts and bamboo shoots. With the skinny hard noodles. Yum ?
Still looks yummy
I worked in a Chinese restaurant in Pittsburgh in the 70's. Our Chop Suey was simply simmered celery and onion with broth and thickened in corn starch. We'd add the meat of choice to it as t he customer wanted. The Chow Mein was just chop suey served over some crunchy chow mein noodles with the rice and the meat of choice. A very basic and simple dish. But delicious and very popular. Same dish served with either ice or rice with crunchy noodles.
You're like the white Maangchi.
The THUMBNAIL LOOKS LIKE BOOGERS WITH CHIPS NASTY
That looks Legit!
Dear Wolf Pit, you are so right in that it is better to laugh than to cry. Cause once you start crying you may not be able to stop! Please continue with the throwback videos!
Love this dish Larry
Fantastic.. I don't think there is anything better than 1 making fun of themselves!! Great content….
Celery!?? Hell no
That looks good better than any restaurant Chow Mein around my town Great video?
Nice job, looks authentic. Yes it's kinda weird having fried noodles in the name.
Good to see your hands working! (in the past)
you have a wonderful personality and it really comes thru in the enjoyable videos.. I cant wait to watch them as soon as i see they r posted!!! Thank You from Beloit Ohio adam t
You should make your own restaurant called the wolfe pit
The video could have been on PBS. It was lovely. But it lacked the enthusiastic punch you give your current videos that I find satisfying. So, in your future videos, feel free to PUNCH me!
Just wanted to say congratulations on the way you have handled your mobility and dexterity issues in your videos. You don't let us feel that you are in any way restricted in your work. Seeing this video made me realise what has been happening.
I don't want to appear mawkish, but you have my respect and admiration.
Thanks.
I would add a ton of sriracha and soy sauce onto it and be in heaven.
0:25 – 0:46 Wise words to life by, for sure. I think the world would be a much better place if we all just laughed at ourselves every once in a while and didn't take everything so damn serious all the time.
For what it's worth, these videos always put a smile on my face. So, thank you for that!
Whatever disabilities you have Larry, a lack of balls and humour aren't numbered amongst them.
Dollar Tree ground beef
Smashing the like button because I like throw back Thursday
I grew up on the west coast, and when I was a kid in the early 80's chow mein was some kind of meat and veggies that you would serve onto a bed of crunchy, crispy dry noodles. Then the softer pan-fried noodles showed up, and that seemed to be what chow mein became, and it became rare to find it the "old" way. This kind of reminds me of the way I used to get it. I will have to try this one out!!!
We enjoy laughing at you too, Wolfe!
GOOD JOB!!!!!
Throw Back Thursday: "How To Make Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers"
Outstanding!!!
This was obviously before you started your manicure (and pedicure) phase. Keep up the good work. I look forward to more Thursdays with you. 🙂
