Who ever said that lollipops had to be for kids obviously has never had a bacon wrapped chicken lollipop before. These bacon wrapped Chicken drumsticks are so good you might just hit your brother in the face to get the last one. That being said make more than you think you will need because you will have more than you think you will eat.

We started out by removing the skin that was attached to the handle of the chicken drumstick. Once they are all cleaned up, we used our favourite bacon and tightly wrapped it around the meaty section of the chicken (wrapping it tight helps with not having to use toothpicks). Once they were all prepped, we set up the charcoal bbq for indirect cooking between 325f-350f. We smoked it for about 40 minutes before we sauced them with your homemade bbq sauce. After saucing the bacon wrapped chicken lollipops we continued cookin then for another 30 minutes before removing them from the heat. After you remove it from the heat there is only one thing left to do… Enjoy.

Bacon Wrapped Burger Dogs | Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs

Bacon Wrapped Burger Dogs | Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs – This Recipe was cooked on the Napoleon Kettle Grill Check it out here: http://amzn.to/1Kz4EKi – TO SEE OUR BBQ ACCESSORY GUIDE CLICK HERE: http://bit.ly/BBQaccesoryguide

Bacon Wrapped Burger Dogs is a deluxe version of the Classic Bacon Wrapped Hotdog. This is a recipe that is sure to give your pitmaster status among your family and peers.

We started out with 1lb of fresh ground beef, 1 package of bacon, and our favourite hotdogs. We then flattened the ground beef into thin burger type patties which we then seasoned with our beef rub. We then wrapped then hotdog into the middle of the beef pattie and proceeded to wrap it tightly with a slice of bacon.

Once that was done, we set up the napoleon grill for indirect cooking at 375 degrees. This higher temp allows the bacon to cook well and get a firm and crispy outer layer. Cook for 25 minutes indirect before rotating them and brushing your favourite BBQ sauce onto them. The BBQ sauce acts as a glue and helps hold the bacon on tight.

After anothe 25 minutes, or 50 minutes total cooking time they will be done. Remove from the grill and serve one a freshly toasted bun with your favourite side.

That’s it. How did you make out? Let me know in the comments below as well as check out the links to the products we used in this video.
