What You Need to Know About Walmart Beef Ribs – What Are We Eating?!?! – The Wolfe Pit

In this video I am trying the retail giant’s Beef Rib Racks that I purchased for $2.24 lb which is an unheard of low cost for any beef around here. For me, one of the ultimate American food meals to eat is awesome BBQ – when the meat is smoked perfectly so it slides off the bone, and the flavor is packed full of insane smokiness. My brother in law Derek had already been to Little Miss BBQ, but it was my first time to eat here, and I was so excited.

I arrived a little over an hour early to get in line, but luckily as soon as you pull up you get a number so that you don’t actually have to wait in line the entire time.

Scott and the entire crew at Little Miss BBQ are amazing, and you can immediately feel their passion and their genuine love for what they do and for the people they get to interact with everyday as a result of serving the best BBQ in Phoenix! Scott and his wife have an interesting and amazing grassroots history and start to their BBQ business. They first started making BBQ at home just because they loved doing it. Eventually they started competing in American BBQ competitions. At the beginning things didn’t go so well, but they kept going and perfecting their BBQ recipes and eventually started to win some of the competitions. Eventually they opened Little Miss BBQ, and it’s one of the best BBQ spots you’ll ever eat at.

So after getting the full tour of the restaurant and all the smoked meat, it was about time to open. You line up outside and the actual inside is quite small – most people either takeaway or eat outside.

I wanted to try a little of everything, so we got a giant tray of smoked BBQ meat including pork ribs, pulled pork, turkey, sausage, brisket, and beef ribs, with sides. Total price for the entire tray came to $92.70 – that was a lot of meat!

Thanks to my brother in law Derek for coming out to eat as well. We started with the beef ribs, and those are the best of the best. The meat falls apart and it was so insanely juicy and flavorful. The BBQ brisket will also blow you mind with its massive meaty flavor and juiciness. Finally my other top meat was the sausage, including jalapeno and a mix of meat and bacon.

Lastly, you have to eat your American food bbq feast with their famous pecan pie. And even though I’m not into sweets, a few bites at the end was amazing.

Little Miss BBQ is a phenomenal BBQ restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona. Not only will the quality and taste of the meat blow you away, but the passion of Scott and the entire crew are so genuine and so friendly, and that’s what makes it so good.

HOW TO SMOKE BRISKET AND SHORTRIBS ON THE GRILL
My Smoker was set to (275°F / 135°C) and I smoked it until a nice color was achieve, took about 6hrs for the brisket and 5 hrs for the ribs. Then I wrapped in aluminum foil until it was tender.

HOW TO COOK BEEF SHORT RIBS ON THE GRILL
______________________________________________________________

INGREDIENTS NEEDED:

3-4 Beef Short Ribs
Kosher Salt for dry brining
BBQ Rub (without salt if dry brining)

METHOD:

Step #1
To start off prepare your beef short ribs by removing all the fat from the top of the ribs. To prep your Beef Short Ribs, apply 1/2 tsp of kosher salt per lb of meat and then place in the fridge overnight to dry brine the meat. This will help season the meat and keep it more juicy after the cook.

Step #2
After your Beef Short Ribs have been dry brined overnight prepare your weber jumbo joe for low and slow cooking at 225F. Also this is the time to add your water tray above the coals as well as yout wood chips for smoking. When your tempreture is stable place your Beef Short Ribs onto the grill opposite the coals and place your digital leave in thermometer into the thickest part of the steak. Once thats done close the lid and begin cooking slowly until they become probe tender. If you’re looking an approximate tempreture it should be around 203-205F IT. This should take around 6-7 hours.

Step #3
After around 6-7 hours your beef short ribs should be done. You will be able to tell when your probe goes in and out like it’s going through butter. At this point remove from the grill and let them rest in foil for between 45-60 minutes. If you have a cambro you can place them in there as well to help hold the heat in a bit longer.

Step #4
After your Beef Ribs have rested in your foil, take them out, show your guest or family then dig in for the feast.
