Using cashews and nutritional yeast Chef Tom creates traditional alfredo flavors that will have you doing a second take because they are just that good! He also smokes mushrooms to add texture and you honestly won’t know this doesn’t have any dairy or meat in it. Don’t worry, we won’t shame you if you add a little bit of chicken. 😉

Chef Tom shows us how to use the YS1500S Outlander and the Wood Fired Oven Attachment to easily create Chicken Tamale Pie, a flavorful dish that is savory and a bit of sweet combined. Hatch green chiles and enchilada sauce bring a little heat while a mildly sweet cornbread balances everything out. Then you have the browned Chihuahua melting cheese on top that brings it all together. Is it an enchilada? Not really… Is it a tamale? Not that either… We just know it’s good!
