Hate to be that whining ninny…but do we really need to generate extra plastic waste?

Somehow, the garlic got lost in this recipe. I'm assuming it went on the Le Griddle with the onions and jalapeños, but the recipe, and Chef Tom, only mentions the o's and peppers. Just curious.

Hey Tom we need you to turn in your chef card for calling this a burger. That is just some jazzed up tex mex loose meat sandwich that maid rite would offer for a limited time

I love everything about this recipe but the the bag technique for the guacamole. That's just more garbage.
Just make it straight on the cutting board with a fork, scrape it and put it in a bowl or something.

    Messy is best!!?
    They look great.
There used to be a little ice cream store down the road that also made great steak sandwiches & tacos. The lady who cooked put fresh sweet corn kernels in her taco meat. At the time I thought "eww, yuck". But I ate them anyway and grew to really like them. It was a nice change from same old, same old tacos. Now I get hungry for them that way. I will try this with fresh corn since it's in season instead of the pintos. I may lose some of the sticking power from the beans, but the sweet from the corn will be a nice balance with the heat. And I don't mind the messy falling out parts, after all what are forks for.?
    Thanks for an awesome recipe.??

Thats just down right nasty?. Whats wrong w you? You could have at least done some reaserch, and you would have found that a taco burger is literally a Cheese burger w a taco. You know what a taco de canasta is? That goes on top or a regular patty. Do you think that any Mexican would eat that? When you can just have a fuckin taco that doesn't taste like its from taco bell.

I always make my guac in a bag. Helps keep it from oxydizing and going bad, easy cleanup, and if you use the edge of your cutting board you can push it all down to the bottom easily. Although if you're going to put diced tomato in it, do it after you've mashed it up, otherwise the tomato gets mashed up too.
