Looks like shit. Line up those temps and maybe…
I was at a drs. Appt while waiting I watched a part of this video boy am I hooked on this show I thought it was just a burger ? I’m supposed to be asleep but I had to watch the rest lol I tell you give chef ??? Tom a moon rock and a fire ? and he can make ANYTHING I LOVE THIS GUY HOLE HOG LET HIM DO IT ATBBQ ??????
Just missing some El Yucateco Red, fresh cilantro, squeeze of lime… Perfecto!
Why would you rather "save dishes" then use single use plastic?
Just curious, what made you decide to go with loose meat instead of working taco seasoning into beef patties?
Definitely going to attempt this one, and still waiting for a rib tip Runza.
So I've been looking at Blackstone griddles. Season, season, season is all I hear…why does this griddle top not look seasoned?
Looks amazing. I love that everybody is getting into using beef tallow. Back in my day they called it lard.
Hate to be that whining ninny…but do we really need to generate extra plastic waste?
Unless you reuse an old bread bag…
Sandwich looked amazing..
Looks delicious. I have many smokers and a Blackstone griddle. Thanks for showing a griddle recipe
This video is Tex-Mex for sure. Dope!
I'd just rather have a f'n taco……
Somehow, the garlic got lost in this recipe. I'm assuming it went on the Le Griddle with the onions and jalapeños, but the recipe, and Chef Tom, only mentions the o's and peppers. Just curious.
God dammit why do I watch this
Hey Tom we need you to turn in your chef card for calling this a burger. That is just some jazzed up tex mex loose meat sandwich that maid rite would offer for a limited time
Oh you got all the fixxxxxinnnsss
I'd rather have a burger or a taco.
Dude, that's not even close to a burger. At best, cumin powder sloppy joe. Just saying.
I love everything about this recipe but the the bag technique for the guacamole. That's just more garbage.
Just make it straight on the cutting board with a fork, scrape it and put it in a bowl or something.
This is why I’m subscribed!!
Smokin a doob?
The taco burger is one of my top 3 menu items from Taco Tico. If you're from the Wichita area, you know what I'm talking about.
How does the salt help break down the garlic? Neat idea with the guacamole in a bag. That looks so good, I am coming to your place for dinner.
Honestly, not really impressed with this one…basically a sloppy Joe with taco seasoning with some guacamole, lettuce and a sprinkle of tomatoes
wasting a plastic bag instead of just washing a bowl??? what the fuck Tom?
It's better when you cough. wink wink 420
Man, that looks really good!!!!
Oh man, i want one right now. Greetings from Graz-Austria (no Kangoroos) – Europe. ?
Damn chef Tom, never thought you would do something like this 🙁 what’s the point????
That's a Sloppy Jose! Could you put some cheese into the taco meat on the grill to bind it better?
The guacamole trick is life altering.
I haven’t seen anything you’ve made that I wouldn’t enjoy… your cooking makes me hungry. Thanks for sharing your great recipes! Have a fantastic day, Lisa @moneypit homestead
Mind is blown. Those look truly awesome!
Just left your guys’ store. I can’t find any other words than BBQ Heaven and Hell. Hell because I may need a 2nd Mortgage to buy all the toys I want now. Love it!
But does it Taco?
"Stay in there buddy, we're coming for ya!" Love it!!! Another amazing meal option!!!
Can we all just appreciate how good this looks? Taco 'bout some good eats!
Sloppy joe slop sloppy joe
Ay vato, that's a Mexican sloppy joe!
They have these at Taco Johns in the midwest.
Yes yes yes!!!!!!
looks ok……will try that one…thanks :O)
Definitely not a burger
Taco sloppy joe.
Messy is best!!?
They look great.
There used to be a little ice cream store down the road that also made great steak sandwiches & tacos. The lady who cooked put fresh sweet corn kernels in her taco meat. At the time I thought "eww, yuck". But I ate them anyway and grew to really like them. It was a nice change from same old, same old tacos. Now I get hungry for them that way. I will try this with fresh corn since it's in season instead of the pintos. I may lose some of the sticking power from the beans, but the sweet from the corn will be a nice balance with the heat. And I don't mind the messy falling out parts, after all what are forks for.?
Thanks for an awesome recipe.??
This exact recipe but just thrown into a tortilla would still be great and it would definitely be a lot loss messy.
I bet this would even go great on nachos platter. I now will have to give this a whirl.
Thats just down right nasty?. Whats wrong w you? You could have at least done some reaserch, and you would have found that a taco burger is literally a Cheese burger w a taco. You know what a taco de canasta is? That goes on top or a regular patty. Do you think that any Mexican would eat that? When you can just have a fuckin taco that doesn't taste like its from taco bell.
I always make my guac in a bag. Helps keep it from oxydizing and going bad, easy cleanup, and if you use the edge of your cutting board you can push it all down to the bottom easily. Although if you're going to put diced tomato in it, do it after you've mashed it up, otherwise the tomato gets mashed up too.
We are so going to make this. My only suggestion is to eat it over a tortilla. When you're done you have a soft taco also. The guacamole hack is genius.
