I think the Great Value tastes better. I have had both. They are both AWESOME tasting but I give the edge to Great Value.

Stouffers are great theyre about the only good brand of tv dinners of its type I stock up when theyre on sale
The Great Value Lasagna cooks and looks better if you just pull away some film from the corner before cooking..it also minimizes removal trauma once it's cooked
I'm having the stouffer's meat eater lasagna and MAN, it's almost as good as the real deal. They never fail to impress.

I have to disagree with you on this Wolfe!!! I think the Great Value is better. At least it used to be. I will say the smaller versions of both SUCK!!! There is something about the smaller ones that make them taste not as good as the large family size ones!!! Dont know why. They must be made is different factories or something. Their is a difference. Get a big version and a small version and try them.

got to love the fact to Stouffers you still get good ricotta cheese and it's great for the value for real simulated Italian
I've had the GV lasagna more often then I care to admit, and honestly, the noodle alone makes it worth it. A lot of tv dinnes with some sort of noodle come out with the noodle being too mushy or not cooked enough, but somehow, the GV lasagna comes out pretty well cooked (obviously not actual lasagna quality, but hey)

As Italians, after my mother got older, she would buy the Stouffer's lasagna and cook the large container for us. After a while, we never knew the difference…we did at first but it passed quickly; when my aunts caught on and bought Stouffer's…we forgot what the old lasagna tasted like. Nonni quit making the old lasagna and switched. For decades we've been eating Stouffer's. lol 🙂
I like Stouffer’s stuffed peppers. Those are really great.
You have to bake the stouffers it doesn’t turn out soupy
You can't compare Stouffers lasagna or Marie Callanders chicken pot pie or Boston Market beef pot roast to anything else

my experience with all stouffers products…the larger the size the better the end quality
I’ve had the same experience with the smaller Stouffers being soupier than the party/family sizes. I’m single but still buy the larger size and cut and freeze the leftovers.
Cooking all these frozen dinners you review in the oven improves them tons.
For frozen dinners, Stouffer's makes a good family sized lasagna. It is good for the money. Not great, but good.
A lasagna without Ricotta cheese is tasteless.

stouffer lasanga was use by hotels with no problem the hotel made a great sauce
We just ate the larger size of great value with meat sauce and it was awesome. The plastic came right off of ours. THe sauce was plentiful and delicious.
