i grabbed these at dollar tree and was actually surprised how… not ghetto ripoff flavor it tasted.

I did it by adding boiling water and resealing the package, also tossed an egg in there to poach. I rarely eat ramen anymore, but this was pretty good stuff.

You slurp noodles, but you eat pssta. It has to do with the fact that alkaline noodles are incredibly chewy, whereas pasta is tender, even overcooked. Asian dishes use subtly and complexity in their noodles, which requires a good slurp to taste well, like coffee or wine tasting, but pasta uses sturdy, tasty, but less complicated, nuisances in the sauce, best enjoyed by a more European ideal of table manners. And spicy peanut sauce is incredible with celery, cold noodles and as chicken peanut curry over rice. Thank you for tasting this. I don't get to eat noodles or pasta anymore.

Rooster is not the original sriracha sauce…

“But the original Sriracha is actually Thai — and comes from the seaside city of Si Racha, where most residents haven't even heard of the U.S. brand, which is now being exported to Thailand”…it’s easy to research and a good story. I know NPR did a story on it back in the day.

The slurping thing is the same as drawing in air as you hold wine around in your mouth when tasting. Sounds silly, but it allows the flavor to aerate and maximize what you are tasting. I find it annoying, but it truly does work

Ramen, regardless of its stated |flavor", is a base, like pasta or rice. I would add lime juice, soy or teriyaki, and Sriracha. Top with some ham and spring onion. And Jalapenos. I frequently add peanut butter, also, after a Korean girl I met in Grad school introduced me to this. Another fine video, Mr. & Mrs. Wolfepit. Thank you for your work .
