Smoked Pork Taco with Pineapple Chipotle Salsa
Take us back to the beach… This week Chef Tom is reminiscing about the good ol’ days. Smoking hundreds of pounds of Creekstone Farms pork on the beach, feeding a thousand of our closest friends tacos at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival. We may not be able to travel back in time, but we can still make delicious tacos at home (on a smaller scale, of course).

Let’s be good to one another. Loved your vibe. You definitely have a new fan.
Hey man; what kind of smoked salt do you recommend ?
Chef Tom. I love your videos. I’ve made several of these thanks to you. I know your all about bbq but have thought about doing some griddle cooks?
Recipe Report: We made these tacos a few weeks ago. We pretty much followed the recipe exactly with one substitution. We used Malcolm Reed's Grande Gringo for the rub since we had it on hand. The pork was great. The salsa was great. But when you put the two together, holy cow! This is definitely a case of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts. They were delicious. Everyone loved them. We'll definitely make these again.
Those look amazing!!! I just had some carnita tacos this wknd and they were as good as always. But man these look nice!!! ??????
Tom… I may not be able to pay my rent during this quarantine, but I surely going to go buy a whole pork butt!!!
I'm actually making this right now. Waiting on the pork to finish, but I'm not sure if there is going to be any salsa left by the time its done though. Its amazing.
We were there with you at SOBEWFF, loved the tacos and talking with you Chef Tom! Love all your videos! Huge fans of yours!
Talk about hitting all the notes, that must be one pleasant flavor bomb!
Hey
Your bbq looks very great. Do you also deliver your Rubs to Germany?
How about a dish with Langostino?
Great recipe! Looking forward to try this. Cheers from Guadalajara!
I guess I'll just need to go to atbbq website and order these ingrediants right away.
Some people eat animal organs
Pork fat = Lard lol I make my tortillas with only Lard. Although i am going to try bacon grease next time.
Want a secret from a Latino that comes from a pork capitol, Puerto Rico? Add some bitter orange to coat the pork for AT LEAST 24hrs before cooking. You'll thank me later.
What kind of smoker is that?
Tom I love your vids and got a man crush on you. Lol J/k BUT I’m pretty sure mi abuelitas tortillas are the best not the ones from Kansas
Do y’all have a video of super tender fajitas? I want fajitas like lupe tortilla!
Just in time for Cinco de Mayo taco tuesday!! Looks delicious
Great idea….., Here in Miami we made a lot of pork in the smoker….. Next time I will try those tacos…..
P.S. the salsa should be taste great as well….
Tom and crew, I love the channel. I suck quite badly at cooking steak. In our family we have some who like to med rare and others who like to closer to well done. I always struggle to cook to everyone's preference. I did recently acquire a sous vids but we haven't used it for steak yet. A video on cooking a steak would be greatly helpful.
Love the video style and narration. Those tacos have my mouth watering!
Placed my first order and got my package in record time. Thanks Chef Tom!
Are rubs and seasoning blends better with salt already in them? Or are salt free ones better so you can better control the amount of salt?
Just ordered those tortillas they looked amazing
Look at what China has done to our country and the world. The bastards need to pay. Don’t buy anything made in China. Read the label. If we band together we could bring China to it’s knees. Buy American made products and support your country.’??
Awesome ! Gotta try this!
My mouth is watering! I had these at tacos after dark and the beach side bbq! Chef Tom is the man! Those Carmelo tortillas are game changers!
I might be adding this to my food truck ! .. as per usual awesome stuff
