Smoked Pork Roast in the Pit Boss Pellet Smoker
The pork collar may be the king of all smoked pork roasts. I was really impressed with how this turned out in the Pit Boss Pellet Smoker. Great smoke flavor and very juicy.

I bought this pork collar roast from Snake River Farms and while it was expensive, it was totally worth it. All I had to do was trim a little bit of fat, season it with BBQ rub, and put it in the smoker.
The temperature of the Pit Boss Pellet Smoker today is 250 degrees F and it took approx. 6 hours to cook.
Finish cooking temp on the smoked pork roast was 195 degrees F.
I prefer to slice the pork collar into thick cuts instead of shredding it or pulling it.
Enjoy

Agreed, way to many rules in backyard barbecuing. That’s a common theme in my videos. Don’t overthink just cook. That pork looks spectacular.
It's always so different when you don't have your sun glasses on. Hehehehe
MMMMMMM!!!
Mike. Pork collar looked awesome. How did you like that rub?
Mike this is an amazing cut! I’ve done it with flavored peach paper for smoking meats with your recipe style and brother is the Cadillac of pork style smoked meats!!!! Simply amazing! Great cut for Cuban sandwiches with a twist and brother haha the results were out of this world with the family!!!
My god does that look tasty! Wow thanks for sharing👍👍
Nice bark for the pellet smoker.
YUM
I think I put on 5 lb just watching this video.
I think you need to spray that door with some Awesome, available at Lowes. and wipe it down with paper towels. Darn nice smoke ring. Considering no water in the pan it was really juicy and not dry.
Another Amazing cook Mike! Was that pork collar dry aged?
So far I love all of Kosmos seasoning's, glaze and bbq sauce and wing dust
