Smoked Pork Butt – How To Make Pulled Pork – Weber Kettle

The Wolfe Pit shows you how easy it is to make BBQ Pulled Pork on the grill, low and slow over charcoal and cherry wood for smoke flavor. After hours and hours on the grill, the pork shoulder pulls apart into mouth watering chunks of succulent pork. Pile it as high as you can on a fresh roll, top it off with cole slaw and your favorite hot sauce or BBQ sauce and you have Heaven on Bun!!

Very innovative concept, Larry – and we'd expect nothing less from you! 🙂 Love the idea of completely simplifying the whole process and just cooking it nekid then seasoning at the pull stage – looking forward to trying that this weekend. For clarification, is it too late to ask a few follow-up Q's? It looks like you just had the heat source on one side and cooked indirect at about 300, right? I've seen others have coals on both sides of the grill and put the pork in the middle, but I like your method better so there's only one fire to tend. Can't tell from the video – do you have a drip pan under the meat to collect juices as it cooks? And do you have a water pan in your setup anywhere? Thanks again, Larry – your ideas are always innovative and interesting and greatly appreciated!

I am going to try this method (no rub)…I bought you 3 recipes awhile back and have not yet done the Original blend…the citrus and bold are both amazing! Good stuff as always, Larry!!

    Thanks, Wolfe!

I can't wait to get my own grill out! Between you and Smokyribs, I get plenty of inspiration! *lol* Still haven't tried using the "real" wood chips yet, though.

Your pulled pork looks delicious! Now I'm getting hungry! *lol*

All best and thumbs up, Jersey Joe 🙂

OMG! That looks absolutely delicious! Just the way I like it. I get boo'd down here in FL for eating my pulled pork sandwich with the coleslaw on it, but it's the best way! Love that you didn't soak the pork with sauce. Perfect sandwich!!! Wiping the drool off my chin now…

Looks awesome Larry. So tender. I can see myself sitting on a patio with a cold beer in one hand and this delicious sandwich in the other. I don't know if I'll have patience for 6 hrs though.
