Good technique there mate. Been watching a lot of smoky joe videos lately and this is the first time of have seen a method like this. In some ways its similar to the snake or minion method in which i have used on my bigger bbqs.
I will give this a try. Thanks man cool video.
Hi – this is great. Which thermometer did you use?
Thats an awesome lookin' sammich from a relatively small grill. Good job!
Great looking pulled pork sandwich! You know how it's done!
You need more views man! Love your vids!
Super pulled pork, Brother. I have not done one in a long while, but I see one in my near future.
Hey Larry !!! I Wish I could say we are at 66 again this Weekend !!! Larry the Pulled Pork looked Beyond YUMMY !!! That gets a 1000 Next Level Yums !!! LOL … I think you did a AWESOME Cook !!! Brother that has to be one of my Favorite Meals on the PLANET !!! You Rock my Carolina Brother !!!
Awesome looking pulled pork Larry, hard to believe you can do that on such a small grill but you did. What type of wood did you use there?
Did you use lighter fluid at all ?
I didn't know that you could control the temperatures and fuel burn so accurately like that with one of those grills, thanks for sharing Larry! Oh, the sandwich looked amazing. 🙂 Hey, have you ever had a chance to try that Peach Wood?
Wolfie, you are an original. Sometimes you are bold. Waiting for Citrus to show up. Heh.
Thanks, Larry! Great video. I really hope to get a Weber Gold this year and there's just SO much about BBQ'ing to know! Thanks to guys like you and SmokyRibs, and K-Ray, and Pitmaster, and Linda, etc. etc. etc. I'm learning a lot. I'm sick of my beat up cheapo $20 Walmart grill LOL I'll have to keep an eye for the "real" wood charcoal as I just use the Kingsford briquets. 67F down there eh? I'm jealous 🙂 There's going to be a "high" of 25F up here today LOL And guess what? More snow on Monday <_<
So . . . back to your videos, and thumbs up 🙂 Jersey Joe
I am going to do this one day and eat high on the hog, just like you!
NICE bark on that butt, Boy! That ol' Wolfe Rub'll do that fer ya. Reminds me, I need to run another batch. I'm almost out. (*cough* still waiting for a label…*cough*)
I'm past due for a pork butt, too, and that beast made me hungry. I might even have one in the freezer. Note to self to look.
We had about the same temp here today, but it was cloudy and overcast. I didn't go outside. Blech. I think we'll be over it and back to normal and in the 70s tomorrow.
If you don't get over here and see my latest video, I'm gonna have to come up there with a can of WhupAss. BOY! LOL
What your snow comes and goes what kind of deal is that mine just stays here all winter not to mention we are back at a trend to stay below zero again. That was a great cook using the jumbo joe.
