is it always the same 2 people who dislike your videos. keep up the great work. I am going to try this recipe for sure. Is there any substitute I wonder for this tri tip spice. I live in Canada and while I'm sure there is something similar I haven't seen anything myself. I'll check online.

Great video Chef Tom! Love all of your videos–very informative but not drawn out. You teach technique very well, without it seeming like a class.

I'm trying this tomorrow, but with leftover pulled pork. Curious to try leaks–I must admit that I have never cooked with them!

Looks amazing but I think using the burr blender on the potatoes was a misstep. Over mixing mash potatoes can make them gummy and yours do look it a bit. Please don't take this the wrong way, I love your channel and think you are a fantastic chef! Your knowledge and talent when preparing and smoking proteins is unparalleled and inspires me to up my meat game! From one chef to another, keep doing what you do!

Good evening, Chef Tom! Just received my new Yoder YS640 today and doing to initial burn in. I can't wait to get a cook going on it.

I would be interested in seeing some smoked spatchcock chickens or half chickens. We also have Thanksgiving right around the corner and smoked whole turkeys would be sweet too! Thanks for the videos!

Looks awesome (as always) I guess you could use a dutch oven instead of the pan?!
Or do you think the meal would lose smoke flavors?
In return the mashed potatos get colored properly. (with charcoals on top)
Please keep up the great work!
    Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
    Greetings from Germany

Are you guys going to do a turkey for Thanksgiving? Preferably before hand so I can watch your video and duplicate it. Would be much appreciated. You guys are the best!
