Pork Rib Corn Dogs




Chef Tom fires up the Yoder Smokers YS640s Pellet Grill and smokes some St. Louis spare ribs until the bones pull right out of the the meat. The boneless ribs are then beer battered and deep fried for these Pork Rib Corn Dogs!

    I’m going to say as much as I would love to try that I just bring myself to using up ribs for “corn ribs.” I would buy one at a fair or carnival but I wouldn’t want to do it. Now that bbq sauce at the end did make me almost wanna buy it.

    I would try it if someone offered. But going through the trouble? Naa I'm good. I did deep fried BBQ ribs before and it just wasn't worth all the hassle and mess to ever try again.

    I don't know the ingredients in those rubs, but it seems like you would end up way too much salt with all the rub that was put on. If I'm wrong, please let me know, but covering them with a cause and two rubs seems excessive.
