This looks delish! I am so going to try this tomorrow night for dinner! So what kind of oysters should I get? Will shucked oysters work? I may substitute the oysters for crawfish. Larry, you're the best! I'm subbing!
How old where you when you started to cook? Who was the one who tough you the most? You are a seasoned chef.
YUM the best tasting Oysters come from Louisiana Like shrimp the best tasting shrimp come out of the Gulf of Mexico best Lobster is From Maine best snow crab ,king crab is from Alaska Here in the states we are so lucky to have great tasting sea food all around us.
Killer good looking sammy!! I LOVE OYSTERS!! Raw, steamed, smoked, stewed, fried..Great vid..
Looks great Larry, cheese isn't traditionally used on fried seafood poboys. I like it but it's uncommon down here. You gonna hitch a ride with Keith to the Spring Fling Boy?
Great lookin' Po' Boy!
oh man!!!! You know fried oysters are my FAVORITE!
bacon and oysters oooooooo yes.
gotta try one!
Delicius! Thanks Larry
Are you from Louisiana?! I just subscribed and am so excited for these recipes! They all look good!!!!!!!!
make more videos please
I Love Oysters, but I have never tried a Oyster Po' Boy, they look terrific! I bought a Bushel of Oysters last month for $60. We ate half raw and shucked the rest and fried them up!
Looks fantastic, Larry! Never really used corn meal before, but I think it's a game changer for me. Thanks! – Carlos
Nice! I had a bad experience years ago with a deep fried oyster. However, while in NZ my in-laws and husband convinced me to try oyster on the half shell – I believe they were Blue point oysters. They were amazing! I wish we could find quality oysters here, I'd certainly try this! Looks fab!
Lordy, that sure looked wonderful Larry! Reminds me of all the great food I had growing up. On a Yum-a-licious scale, that was about 15! Cheers to ya buddy!!!
I've never had oysters before, but I think the only way I could have them would be deep fried. lol Good Luuuukin Sandwich!
Hey Larry! I went camping many years ago at Chincoteague! Is that around where you live? Wow! It's a small world isn't it? I'll shoot you a PM
That sandwich looks really great and tasty . . . yummy! Making me hungry LOL
All best and thumbs up as always, Jersey Joe 🙂
excellent job Larry, but I'll have to pass on those Oysters! It's a texture thing. everything looked perfect even down to your perfectly seasoned cast iron pan.
looks great Larry!
Like CCJ said, we really don't have good fresh seafood around here. Well, there's a market with insanely high prices, but… This looks over-the-top GUUUUD, Larry!
still trying to decide if I like the cornmeal. but this sandwich looks good. more pickles on mine please.
Yummy!! I will be making this 'Po Boy' sandwich real soon! Thanks for sharing 😉 Bacon!!!
For oyster haters, great with fried catfish nuggets too. If your not too lazy, turn your mayo into remoulade, then you got the real deal.
reminds me of my father, he would love this ! thanks brother cheers
That looks really good.
I LOVE YOU!!! OMG your food is always foodgasmic!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhh

Toast my bread and melt my cheese, when mine and be sure to call me when its done, lol
