Pinto Beans with Smoked Pork – How to make Pinto Beans
Here is a very simple, inexpensive, comfort food recipe for pinto beans. These pinto beans are slow cooked with pieces of smoked spare ribs for several hours, until the meat falls off the bone and the beans are tender. This is the perfect one pot stick to your ribs meal, that is great anytime of the year. But, when it’s cold and snowy, it makes the beans taste that much better!

nice bowl of beans there larry but wher the hell are the fried potatoes, u cant have pinto beans without fried potatoes, its a law here, pintos are my favorite, have eaten em for over 50 years and i can honestly say, this is the first time i ever saw tomatoes added to them, as i am a fan of rotel, i will definately try this next time i do, and i got a big ole ham bone in the freezer jus waiting
ill remember the tip with the spare ribs. cant wait to get off thi damn diet. well not really a diet but more healthy eating only been bbqin chicken.
I did beans in a crock pot, and really liked the that way. You don't have to think about it.
I found if you add some Anjwan (I grind mine) to the beans, it cuts down the "trumpet " effect….LOL
I'm not big on beans, but you make this look pretty good. I'm not saying that I will try it, but you sure do make something I'm not crazy about worth considering. BTW, you did a real nice job of mixing the background music so that it's not overpowering. Thanks, Larry.
Thumbnail looks really nice…I often make pinto beans but have never made them with smoked ribs..Would be nice to try…I like background music…slowly going on..makes video more professional..
Beans Beans the musical fruit! Great video Larry!
