    Not the red eye gravy I grew up on in TN. Ours was ham grease and coffee only and it was thin and red woth grease droplets floating on it. Not this thick chocolate stuff with sugar. Good try though.

    This is the second red-eye gravy recipe in a row I've seen on YouTube that adds sugar to the mix. Honestly I don't think sugar is part of the recipe. As far as I know, it's just ham drippings and coffee.
