    Video: Cockles are not clams
Me: live in saltwater, have a shell, if they wont close from open are dead, can be found in a sandy beach in New zealand, briny, bivalve, mollusc, has a foot and a siphon, feeds on microscopic stuff in the water. Sounds like a clam to me…. A rose by any other name is but a rose.

I am familiar with adding some cream to the cooking liquid when preparing molluscs, but the mustard is a new twist for me. It does pair well with the other ingredients (love the addition of pancetta). I'll give it a try, thanks!
