    Those mushrooms looked insane! A bit less cooking on the venison though so it's still really pink, the heat of the mushroom ragu will keep cooking it. Brilliant idea and still looked amazing of course.

    I have only had venison once in my life…I was graduating from Marine Corps boot camp and one of my buddies family brought him some venison jerky. Maybe it was because we hadn't had any real GUD food in 3 months but that jerky was amazing! Always wanted to try it again and this looks amazing.
