📝 Today’s Recipe:
Vegan Dahmer Dogs
Prep Time: 15 min | Cook Time: 25 Min
Total Time: 40 min | Serves: 6 | Pellets: Mesquite
1 package vegan spicy links
1 cup shredded red cabbage
1 pack of crispy onions
1/4 cup green onions chopped
1/2 cup light ranch dressing
1 tsp sea salt
1 tbsp pepper
6 tbsp of Jack Daniels barbecue sauce
6 hot dog buns of your choice, I’m going with pretzilla buns
Preheat your smoker to 375°F. For these sliders I am using mesquite pellets.
In a bowl combine shredded cabbage, 1/2 of the ranch dressing, sea salt and pepper to taste and set aside.
Smoke vegan dogs until they reach an internal temp of 165F. You may bake them in the oven as an option. Once the links are done, season your buns with some ranch, sea salt and pepper, you may also warm the buns in the oven.
Assemble the vegan dogs with slaw, green onions, crispy onions, Jack Daniels bbq sauce, ranch dressing and voila. The Vegan Dahmer Dogs! Enjoy!
