    I found out …..it's much better if you make your own Jack Daniels sauce… and cook you own fresh meat!!! I have yet to find store or factory seasoned meat fresh or frozen that is worth the cost or has flavor I like!

    You shouldn't worry so much about how long they keep. They have been packaging food in those vacuum sealed bags since the late '80s but you would only see it in commercially packaged food. Raw meat packed that way can keep for 28 days, cooked meat even longer. What baffles me is how Hormel Completes can stay on a shelf without being canned, or soup and broth in cartons. I guess because they're all air tight is why they last as long as they do.
