You're probably living in what they call a "test-market." Mystery solved.

Nothing shady about it, it just means "Let's see how well it sells here before we release it nationally." Fast-food restaurants do that sort of thing all the time with new menu-items. The Filet-O-Fish sandwich was an Ohio thing (because a lot of Midwesterners are Catholics who give up red meat during Lent, and a local manager came up with the idea to serve a fish-sandwich to combat slumping burger-sales) before it became an iconic Mcdonald's menu-item.

Not for me Larry , I don't even like their restaurant food, or Applebee's, etc… all those chains with fancy food names, high prices, medicre food at best. I will give the cracker barrel restaurants a pass, they have good food

I don't buy TGIF premade anything. Then again, I don't go to TGIF because all the ones near me closed years ago. I just think all the TGIF packaged stuff is all overpriced for what you can get from other brands either fresh, frozen or refrigerated. I don't have a problem with obesity, I can't get fat no matter how hard I try… I'd die before getting obese. I could eat that entire chicken or rack of ribs in 1 meal + a side of potatoes or beans and a corn on the cob.

I work in Spartanburg and the local Food Lion carries a lot of their products. They tend to be hit or miss as to quality but portions are good for the price point. Their sliced brisket is not too bad. I've had the chicken and it's good for what it is.

I mean, I'd eat that whole rack of ribs with a side and still be ready for dessert… having tried these before they are ok, not amazing but pretty good for what they are.
