If you really want this recipe to be as good as it is here in Hawai'i then you will use only ALOHA SHOYU soy sauce and also add a half a can of 7-UP to give it that special taste.
Aloha Shoyu soy sauce is what makes the difference in ALL Hawaiian food recipes, every other kind of soy sauce is very much to bitter and gross tasting once you have had Aloha Shoyu soy sauce.
    Remember that folks.

Oh and thank you for not using "the most awesome", "the bestest", "or million $", or any other forms of nonsense that other posters include in their video titles just to get folks to click on them. I avoid all vids with those stupid buzz words like I avoid Ol' Meg who works down by the docks for 10$ an hour.

Ok Wolf, this is, to the best of my recollection, the 2nd vid of yours I've seen. I had to now subscribe and of course give it a thumbs up. Why? Editing, presentation, demonstration and that you have a blog with all the measurements of the ingredients. You obviously put so much talent, time and passion into these vids I couldn't give you back anything less. Now my desktop is gonna have another youtube shortcut on it. I especially liked the nice touch by including a few seconds of the previous huli-huli chicken video It really had nothing to do with this recipe, but it completes the overall huli-huli cooking recipe which you are demonstrating. Outstanding. I am soooo looking forward to watching ALL of your previous vids as well as any new ones.

Larry: They are perfect. Well done video as usual from your great site. I am going to have to try this sauce. People overlook cumin in cooking. In my chili recipe it is one ingregient that I insist that people remember to use. Man I just became hungry! Bernard

I hope you're proud of yourself making a grown woman drool. Lol Seriously, those ribs looked to die for! I'm with you on the membrane, we love that little snap/chew you get from it and so does my family & friends.
