Have a Marcoun (sp?), I think< apple tree in my yard here in Seattle. Heavy producer, but we have a terrible time with maggots. Anyhow, I can get clean apples and have made from them apple sauce, eating apples, tarts, baking of many sorts, and hard cider. IO still have some and will try this approach soon.
Maybe put on all of the rub before the injection? You might squeeze out a good bit of the injection while rubbing if you inject first. Eh, wot?
