Yeah but with a cruddy cut of steak ketchup+worcestershire sauce mixed together makes the best steak sauce. But I'd still omit sauce with a primo cut of steak.

i think the American way taste better than the Euro way ..and trust me i tried them both  in Euro you need to have some kind of sauce and roasted sweet onions to make it kick ….in the US i can have it with some hash brown and a fried egg and it turns out fantastic

Many comments here further emphasise my beliefs about how low human mentality is in the main.  To say never put Ketchup on the steak is testament of my thoughts. Guess what, those that put whatever on their food do it because THEY like it. What, do you all think everyone has to like to eat the way you do. Thank god i'm not connected to anyone that thinks that way!

Thank you, Wolfe!    Your videos get better and better all the time . . . excellent job in editing, etc. Good for you!   That was a good tip about NOT putting spices onto the meat when searing because they would burn . . .   I wouldn't have thought of that, so once again I learned something from you  😉

Those steaks looks absolutely delicious, and are done to perfection !!   I remember when I was a kid, my father would ask people if they wanted their steaks medium-well or "ruined" (i.e. well done)  Now I get the joke!   LOL

All best and thumbs up as always,  Jersey Joe  🙂

oh you hurt my feelings at the end. I will eat a steak without ketchup. But to force down that last 1/3 of my ribeye. I am using ketchup. Does that high class banana ketchup @SmokeyGoodness uses is fine right. Just not Hunts lol

Ha! If you put ketchup on it, you should be made to walk the plank.

I think I mentioned once that my Dad only had one doneness setting, and that was well done. The number of steaks he destroyed in his life would probably be enough to sink a ship. At least I don't think he put ketchup on them…

My daughter worked in a steak joint and said customers would order well done steaks & put ketchup on. Why bother having steak? I'll never understand that. This steak looked great, Larry! A great way to cook steak when the bbq is under snow!

Done perfectly, Larry! Pink and juicy! I love top sirloin! My dad used to put ketchup on his steak. Even in fancy restaurants he would ask the waiter for it. The rest of the family would crawl under the table at those embarrassing moments.
