im waitin for the weather to break here so i can attempt my first try at pastrami, will let u know when that happens, but on the other hand, damn that looked good til u put the slaw on it, lol===i am glad u did not use that yellow frenchs mustard though, hate that stuff, pastrami to me needs spicy brown mustard, onions, rye bread and perhaps some swiss, though that is not mandatory, lol====that meat did look really good though larry====yummy

    Pastrami Weber Goodness.

    Yum.

Its amazing how certain places make Pastrami. In the better Deli's I notice a difference between them. The fast food Pastrami all tastes the same..and you have to drown it in mustard to get it down. I had to laugh my butt off when subway fast food restaurants put pastrami on their menu. Thats like calling McNuggets chicken.

You always make it looks so easy! I have always been intimidated by large pieces of meat on the grill. I'm gonna save this one to my favs, so I can study it and maybe feel a little more comfortable trying to do my own. Thanks, Larry!

Thanks, Larry . . . (not trying to highjack your video). I only use the charcoal (haven't tried wood yet) and starter fluid. Your way is probably better (less pollution, etc.) and intrgues me. So you think I can load up my charcoals, use a propane torch to get one edge started, add the meat and close the lid, then ?? Hope I didn't misunderstand *lol*

Thanks so very much my friend! It's always a pleasure to visit your channel and learn something new! . . . Jersey Joe 🙂

Wolfe, I'm watching your BBQing technique, etc. You light the coals with a propane torch, then close the lid down on the meat? Don't you have to wait until they all turn gray, etc.? About how long did your cook the meat?

Your pastrami recipe looks GREAT!! *lol* I love pastrami on rye!

Thanks for your tasty looking videos! 🙂 All best and thumbs up, Jersey Joe
