    Julia Child would have your ass in a sling for not shaking that powdered sugar through a sieve. I like the way it puffs up in the oven. I've never tried it that way. I'm with you on the maple surple, but I'll trade the powdered sugar rush for good ol' animal fat and cholesterol. Bacon and butter.

    So while you've been screwing around with French bread and French toast, and probably even French eggs, I've been playing with other French thingies, and you haven't even noticed yet. Humph!
