Looks delicious! Just a few questions: How do you prepare your charcoal grill? How many coats in total are we supposed to apply? Should we season both sides of the chicken?
So that's how to apply BBQ sauce. I never had a white BBQ ( American or British) and most Nepalese BBQ is marinated in Soy Sauce so could a new style 🙂
Nice job. I like to do the same thing on my Weber Kettle. Chicken quarters are so inexpensive and are very forgiving when it comes to cooking. I have found that they turn out great as long as you cook them till tender not just until the juices are clear. How are those cast iron grates holding up for you? I am concerned that if I get those I will soon be fighting a major battle with rust. Seriously considering them.
I just watched your country style ribs and your BBQ chicken video and they both look wonderful!!! Do you flip the chicken & Ribs or you just put them on and leave them alone?
Now that was some good looking bird! I am going to have to show my technique on low and slow chicken on the Grill. Thanks for the Idea Wolfe. I give you a shout out and mention your channel during my video!
Glad you made 6 of them. I'm on my way to sample a couple! Did you thin down your bbq sauce to get a thin coating? I'd thin it down with some bourbon for a little extra flavor.
That plate screams for some mash-potatoes! lol The home-made kind that is still just a little lumpy and has some peel in it, too! hehe Thanks for sharing 🙂
I can't wait to get out there and start BBQing! I agree with you, all you really need is salt and pepper . . . but I also add a little paprika. When the chicken starts to cook, I add a little "Sweet Baby Ray's" . . . 🙂
You have a really nice SOLID-looking grill . . . is it a Weber? (my cheapo grill isn't going to last much longer and I'm in the market for an upgrade).
Mouth watering. Yum. SO wish I had a grill…of ANY kind. Don't know why we ever sold our gas grill! Not as good for some foods, maybe, as a traditional grill, but how I wish I still had it. I didn't know how to grill when I owned it and that's why we sold it. But boy, now with YouTube, how I wish I still had it. Sigh.
