Cheers for the Video! Forgive me for butting in, I would love your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about – Proutklarton Helping Firestarter Plan (probably on Google)? It is a smashing one off guide for getting a $15 optic fire starter for free without the normal expense. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my work colleague finally got cool results with it.

Larry, this is a great tip! Vegetable oil and paper towels! I don't suppose it would do much good with my propane grill though, huh? Thanks for the clever idea my friend!

Wolfie,  I think I learned more from YOU than anyone else out there about using a charcoal grill   . . .  lighting it off properly was just ONE small example!  (I remember my dad using gasoline, etc.  <rofl> as you may recall)   😮

I really miss being able to use my Weber, but it is always a pleasure to just sit back and watch the pros (like you) in action on the Tube!   Thanks so much for all your efforts to educate people on the right way to do things, and thumbs way up as always, your now fellow Virginian,   Norfolk Joe  🙂

Thanks for sharing this! With that Rec-Tec I thought you might have forgotten how to do this LOl. Just breaking your balls! But seriously, my favorite method is to use a chimney starter on the side burner of my gas grill. Works great.
