HOW TO CUT UP A WHOLE CHICKEN INTO PARTS
______________________________________________________________
METHOD:
Step #1
Cut between the leg quarters and breast making your cut closer to the leg to help keep more skin on the breast. Next press down the legs and fold them back a bit until you see the joints pop. Slice through the joints and remove the Leg Quarters. Next find the fat line and slice through it and the joing to get your thigh and drimstick portions
Step #2
Hold the wing up and feel for the joint of the wing and breast. Cut around and through the joint to remove your wing portions
Step #3
To remove the breast, slice down the side of the keel bone and along the wishbone. Continue down the rib cage until the breast portion has been removed. Repeat for the other side.
That’s it, enjoy.

Frankly surprised. One of the best chicken breakdown videos I have ever seen. Nice job. Subbed. Clearly experienced but also a good educator.
Nice dude! Grilled veggie video coming soon? 😉
Nice tutorial! 🙂
Get edumacated! Thanks for the tutorial, dude. Great video as always.
Really nice tutorial.
Nice video! I always prefer buying a whole chicken and then breaking it down. This has shown me where I've always struggled. Great job!
Nice summary. At the moment i get 4 chickens for the price of 2 lbs of breast (so 8 breasts and all the other parts for the same money). Drumsticks and thighs are less expensive than the breast of course, but a whome chicken is always best 🙂
Well done!
Removing the breast meat reminds me of filleting a fish, which I've done so many times.
Will try all of the above!
#knifeskills Cheers
Nice work…
Great job !!! Nice knife skills !!! For some reason , wings are fun !!! 🙂
That was a big chicken bro good vid. Keep them coming.
Great videos.
I saw once where 1/3 of the breast meat was left on the wings giving them more meat.
The wings! This is awesome! I always feel like a do a hack job cutting one up!
First to view! Thanks for the videos!!
