Great upload, thanks. Did this close to identically as here last year, but had it go kinda long to get 145F, on lump with wood chunks. It made it hard to keep temp up, and made it so smoky I accidentally made a thin bark on the ham which was a bit of a mistake. Delicious ham but the bark was not desired. This year will use less smoke and a shorter cooking time.

Just did this today but I used apple juice and then the glaze/baste were the juices in the pan. MAN that ham was juicy and tender and the taste was AWESOME. I may never cook another ham in an oven again. It was so easy. The hardest part was keeping the temperature set around 300 because my grill vent is broken. So I had to do it manually and keep a check on it every 15 minutes. WELL worth it though. I promise. IT IS GUUUUUD !!!!!

Ham turned out great. Good job fellas. Thanks for continuing to help me use my grill/smoker to its full potential. I did change the recipe a tad, used a mango chutney for the glaze. Oooooowwweeeee!!!

..we've been pitched TV shows by producers before. But, most "reality" shows suck, and we won't be a part of it. They are the furthest thing from what is "reality", essentially nothing more than modern day Soap Operas. Google search "BBQ Pit Boys" and you'll find our Website. And, thanks for those kind words. -BBQ Pit Boys

Yesterday for Easter I followed your video perfectly and came up with a ham so amazing that for a brief moment my Mother in Law even stopped hating me for a few minutes. The power of BBQ!!!

I found them!!! A local small grocery chain has some. They said they get them in sporadically around the holidays. (Hence the title name 'Holiday Ham'. These are leftover from Christmas but have a long shelve life since they are cured. Can't wait to do this recipe this weekend!

Thanks, but I'm still having trouble. The supermarket says they can order one but will take time to get in, and a local deli has an uncooked, uncured boneless ham, and the local butcher can order a bone in, uncooked and uncured ham. So either I'm not understanding what to look for or perhaps these hams are not quite as readily available as the video suggests.
