As most of you already know my local Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Dollar General or Walmart stores are my own personal adult playgrounds. I shop at these stores to find food that is generally highly processed, full of fillers and simply bad for us to eat regularly! Meat, vegetables, canned food, frozen food, refrigerated food, boxed food, vegan food, vegetarian food and all sorts of prepared foods, if it’s cheap and questionable I will do a taste test and food review on it! I also show you these foods are no bargain like these discount stores and manufacturers lead you to believe. I do this to show you that fresh foods are not only healthier, but they’re also cheaper than these so called bargain foods. So far I haven’t gotten sick, but some of these foods are certainly questionable and have come close to making me sick.

Let's clear this up!!! SALT and SODIUM are not the same thing, which is why I converted it since nutrition labels in the U.S. list sodium. LOTS of comments "There's a 1000 mg in 1 g". This is true, but there's sodium in salt which is what I converted to mg. Hope that clears it up! BUT I did make a mistake @ 1:52 and said "4 grams of fiber" vs. ".4 grams of fiber". SORRY!

Hey Wolfe pit – you've inspired me to make a channel about food, I'm disabled similar to you and I use food shelves a lot. I was going to do a weekly episode where I use 100 percent items I got from a food shelf in a given week. I figure it not only would help those use what's given to us in the best way but also promote the said food shelf and show those in government or any type of person responsible for allocating money to them to show them just how much their help is valued and needed.

If you like potted meat I suggest adding I or 2 cans to milk gravy on a cold Sunday morning over toast,,, my mom learned of this from a poorer family that lived down the road from her in north east arkansa in the 1920's or 30's depression era

in japan where my family is from people think pizza is toast with ketchup and processed cheese on it, and for toppings they would put something like processed ham or canned corn or green peppers, look up japanese pizza toast

My family used to make a version of pizza toast by slicing up left over sausage or hot dogs and mixing up catsup, oregano, garlic powder and top off with a cheese slice. Under the broiler for a few minutes and you got a tasty, fast treat.
