Looks great! I'm doing a cookout at work next week and I wanted an easy way to make fries to go with hamburgers. This looks easy enough to make but have you ever made these with olive oil instead? Would it make much difference? What about the salt? Does it have to be kosher salt or can you use salt flakes or fine to coarsely ground salt. Any other tips you can think to share would be awesome, thanks!

Quick question, we're going to be out camping and my gaz tank has to last for the whole trip. Would that be a good idea in your opinion, to part bake the whole potatoes like halfway done and keeping them whole until i need them. I would be then following your recipe and perhaps this way i could cut on the cooking time . What do you think 🙂

Larry, my God you're making a name for yourself. Never knew grill steak fries, but I was never a barbecue guy. Congratulations on the success of your channel, as I've always said you are one of the hardest working guys on YouTube.

Great recipe Larry. Just tried these today with a small twist, and used sweet potatoes and a slightly slimmer cut, at they're hands down my favorite grilled side! Keep up the great work!

They look GREAT, Wolfie!    :-0       Dayum!   When I was able to BBQ, I often made baked potatoes, but never tried 'em THIS way.  Now I really miss my Weber  <lol>   🙁

Thanks very much, Happy Fathers day to you, and thumbs up,   Norfolk Joe  🙂
