A good ramen noodle should be slightly chewy. I’d rather them be on the al dente side than mushy. I can’t stand mushy ramen noodles, ruins it for me tbh, even if the broth and everything else is solid. The noodles are the foundation of the dish imo. That’s why these frozen microwave ramen meals aren’t good. Only good frozen noodles are the ones that aren’t cooked that you boil and strain separately, sun noodle comes to mind (not sure if they’re big outside of Hawaii tho)

With pre-prepared noodle dishes like this, especially microwave ones, I tend to under-cook them slightly, because by the time they finish cooking in the microwave and you start to eat them, they've finished cooking through properly and retain some of their springiness, I absolutely hate soggy noodles and can't stand ramen or other noodle dishes with soggy noodles, they've gotta be a little firm still.

I forgot you reviewed these and bought 2 boxes. The noodles were completely gummy. The flavor tasted like freezer on mine. It was absolutely disgusting.

Ah hum………. the words food safety and anal do not belong in the same sentence.
They probably took the gluten out of the noodles, people will never stop playing ways to ruin food.

Look on the under side of a bone in chicken breast, the ribs are right next to the breast. When they cut the breast off the bone they cut it as one piece with the rib meat.

I actually like the Ling Ling ramen meals, it’s not to too bad if you need a ramen fix. Unfortunately my area has no ramen restaurants or anything to curb that craving.

Larry you need to try the Nissin – Raoh, Japanese Instant Ramen Noodles, Pork Bone Soup. The import/japanese one is better than the US version. If you want just tell me where to send it. I soft boil and egg while heating the water and throw in a little pork or beef and green onion and shiitake. The shit is off the hook. Some of the bowl version(not bag) have a thin slice of pork in it. The bowl version is not available on Amazon right now though

These are pretty good. I think you may have overlooked them…

I like the savory chicken one.

I cook it, let it sit for 2 mins. Then stir as I eat..
The noodles are firm and the broth is the seller. I usually save the broth, meat and veggies for the end as a slurpfest
