Well guys I tried to get the real impossible Burger and explain I think I had a fraud or a bad Burger and here's Impossible Foods reply.

Hi Larry. We don't sell the Impossible Burger in retail outlets yet. We are planning to launch in retail later this year. So as a general policy, we don't send it to journalists or reviewers for home cooking. Also, I can't comment for sure on whether or not this is an Impossible Burger. It doesn't look like one, but our sales team is reaching out to the restaurant to inquire.

Thanks again for your interest in Impossible Foods, and good luck with future videos.

Love your videos, and was curious when I saw this one. There was a comment of yours i wanted to address – as far as environmental impact of meat consumption, they are also referring to deforestation in South America for cattle farms and some other stuff besides cow farts. Also, the science of these impossible burgers etc is interesting. They found a plant ingredient that has a similar iron/blood taste, hence the "what makes meat taste like meat?" question. I've had delicious impossible burgers and not so delicious impossible burgers from different restaurants, but never cooked it at home. Much respect to you, and again, love your videos!

Yeah, I don't want to die of heart disease; We are at the top of the food chain but don't NEED meat. Hell, we function better without meat in our diet, you are just trying to shut down the vegan adgenda because it doesn't suit yours.

And if anyone wants to debate me, feel free to in the comments.

Very, very strange of this restaurant to sell you unprepared food/meat. I wouldn’t trust this restaurant again. It is highly unlikely that this plant based burger upset your digestive tract to that extreme. I think it’s more probable that the restaurant who sold you these patties may have cross contaminated them in some way.

No way those are IB patties Larry. Someone took your hard earned money and sold you Beyond meat, or perhaps old IB meat that was thawed then refrozen which dried the patties "beyond" freshness. Impossible Burger patties have a lot of fat in them (coconut oil pellets) and they don't grill like your patties did… You got had Larry!

    1. The rants beforehand, though your opinions & you have every to voice them, allude heavily to a bias. Just stating what you’ve presented to us.

    2. “don’t ever question my honesty” – I’m sorry, but NOTHING is above questioning. I don’t think you meant this to have the sort of negative connotations it did, but, again, this is what you have presented us with.

    3. I guess this goes without saying, but be sure to update us once you’ve gotten your hands on a real Impossible Burger. Any sort of difference of opinions/personal beliefs aside, I generally enjoy your channel & think you are overall a reasonable person prone to the same shortcomings as the rest of us.

    Best Regards.

I've been pretty much a vegetarian my while life,, Going Vegan,, my family isn't their meat eater's..But I do have a weakness for bacon that I've broken away from.. Eating meat never has been my thing,, I can't stomach the smell or texture of animal flesh.. animals are here with us not for us and if it has a face a heart it has a Soul and eating is called cannibalism.. Besides that it's dead food we are to eat live foods such as vegetables fruits grains n nut's and so on that are live foods that gives us everything needed to be healthy n disease free.. that's just lil ole me n a lot of other's opinions not knocking anyone who eats meat.. We're all here on our own personal journeys..And my vegan burger's are Delicious!!.. LOVE TO ALL??

Yes yes fake Impossible burger! I watched the actual Impossible Whopper being tried on your newer video. Impossible is thinner and more ground beef like. I think this might be a Benevolent Burger or just a beyond burger someone sold you as Impossible because Impossible burgers are not yet available as raw meat in stores

I am a meat eater who does cook some meatless dishes. My grand daughter who has not eaten beef since she was 8 yrs old (now 29) tried a impossible whopper and she thought it was pretty good, but could not compare it to a real beef whopper because she doesn't know what a beef whopper tastes like. So, I went to BK and got myself an impossible whopper. I thought it tasted just like a meat whopper, but I don't think a whopper is a very good sandwich anyway. I can eat them but I certainly don't crave them. I agree with you that it is crazy to try to make a meatless burger taste like a real hamburger. For what purpose? I do like a good veggie burger occasionally, but my expectation is just that it tastes good not that it taste like a hamburger. I tried it but didn't like it. And for $8 I can get a pretty good hamburger at a local sit down restaurant.

Your wife is crazy. It's delicious and it smells good too. Husband is a vegetarian and I am not, in fact I have red meat cravings worse than a crackhead wants that aquarium gravel. But I thought the impossible burger by Burger King was dandy. A little expensive. You should have done a taste test, with a Whopper right along side. Would have liked to see that.

I thought it was a fair and unbiased review. He asked for a product to test. That's what they gave him… at no small cost. I'm not going to get into the discussion of publishing information that is already available on the internet.
