Look, first of all if you're going to give a recipe, you have to do it the way you're supposed to. Have the meat thawed and you don't demonstrate a recipe if you are in a rush. You said you were rushing. Saying one thing and doing another is not helpful. Do you want to confuse people?

Have you tried to thicken it with a roux rather than the slurry? I keep a lot of roux on hand in my refrigerator. I tend to prefer the taste a gravy made with roux more so than that of a slurry.  Just curious if you've had it both ways and which way you think is better. That dish looks amazing by the way. Good Job.

I noticed you are using your cast iron on a glass cook top. I also have a glass cooktop range, and was told to never use cast iron on it, because it would ruin your cooktop. Have you seen any adverse affects using cast iron on your glass cooktop?

That looks terrific . . . (AND the music was great too! *lol*)

Interesting idea to use soda to make this up. I never thought of that before.

Liked, saved, and favorited yet AGAIN . . . Thanks, Larry!

    All best, Jersey Joe 🙂

Hahaaa! "It's almost all the way thawed out," he says as he taps the spoon against it and it goes "clank."

I'd throw a good dollop of horseradish right into the gravy. I love the stuff. Never thought of using soft drinks as a starter for gravy, but the results sure look good. That gravy looked excellent! But there wasn't enough on the plate. I could still see noodles. LOL
