Alright, I have been experimenting with some BBQ sauces lately…so far this one takes 1st place. It's pretty mild with subtle heat which means the kids will gobble this up. I did use brown sugar and instead white, and instead of oil I used some smoked butter I already prepared. Instead of 1 TBLS of chili powder I used 1/2 TBLS chili powder and 1/2 TBLS of Lawry's Chili and Garlic. Lastly I used dijon mustard instead of regular. This recipe is a winner! Nice job!

I haven't ever made a bbq sauce before and I just wanted to learn. Your video was the first one that I clicked on and it will be the first one that I will make. I figured if for some reason it is too spicy, which I need to stay away from due to an ulcer, I can just double the ingredients, minus anything that makes it spicy, and all will be good with twice as much as before. It's a win win situation. which is great for me. I will make it the way that you showed and then afterwards I might change it a little by what others did. Thank you for your recipe.

Made this. Enjoyed it. Liked video.

I thought it was slightly too spicy; for my personal preference and what I was happening to be using it for. Totally tolerable levels of heat, though I did get a few comments from weaker tongues.

I might suggest using 1/2 TBSP instead of a full one. I'll try that next time, but I suspect that will be closer to "sweet and spicy".
