Just rewatching old videos and when the patty is shown after it's cut the first thing that came to mind are what fast food chicken nuggets look like.
I legit looked up Chef’s Requested and the some of the machines they had was a patty shaper and some kind of mixer that purées meat. Some company was selling their machinery. It seems like at one point they had decent meats… what made them make lower quality crap?
When i was a kid about 4 or 5 i used to call WHATABURGER "WATERBURGER" ?.
You know, this viewer in the UK finds these videos oddly compelling! I've lost count of how many I've watched now…
According to Google, 4 oz of chicken has around 32 grams of protein. However, this 4 oz "chicken filet", only has 19 g. This is only about 60% chicken.

Holy shit, this looked even worse than the beef ones…. like wtf was going on with them spilling meat goo when you took them out of the oven?! They look more like undercooked biscuits with raw dough spilling out than anything chicken.
