    Those look like a blast to make. Because you don't use eggs in them I would make Patties or really thin thin patties from them and put them into quesadillas thank you so much for the inspiration these are really fun!

    Traditionally, italian meat balls are veal, pork and beef. If you want to do something interesting, try ham balls. Seems to be popular in Iowa and would be up your alley.

    I did this recipie in my oven to poor effect.. The doritios didnt seem to penetrate the beef to season it enough so they ended up a bit bland. Im guessing the grill makes all the difference.
