I'm so so glad you stressed the fact of not buying Asian crabmeat.
Not just because we in America should be buying American product but, the fact that Asian and Indonesian shellfish are grown in farms that are so filthy and improperly maintained. The animals are living and growing in literally waste. They're own as well as human waste run off.
This includes crab, shrimp, crayfish and many other food products.
    Good recipe. Thank you.

I don't live in America..so no American crab for me. I might add shrimp, mussel meat and stuff the mussel….and stuff some mushrooms….ooooh and top it with caviar. (I've never tried caviar). This video has given me some ideas. Thanks

This mushroom stuff is crap, the best crap you'll ever eat, lol, just kidding Larry, these are awesome, i can make a meal just out of these(will need a dozen more). If you can't get maryland jumbo blue crab, look for shredded, or look for dungeness crab meat. If need be, buy a couple of clusters of snow crab, boil 15 minutes and crack those and get the meat out, they are usually available anywhere you can get crab. Worst case scenarios, and i do mean worst, but will work, buy imitation crab meat or canned crab meat, but those are last resorts.

Looks great Larry, going to make those soon. A little tip for you, if you have or can find a serrated grapefruit spoon, get one. They are great for scraping out the gills of mushrooms, removing seeds from cucumbers, squashes, tomatoes, etc…., i am on medication that i can't eat drink grapefruit products, but the spoon sure comes in handy, lol, keep those good recipes a comin' at us, God bless

Loved your comment about the fake crab meat, I'm sitting in the parking lot at Trident Seafood waiting on my girlfriend to finish work….they are one of many nasty fake crab kings.

I make stuffed mushrooms a few times a year and love them. The only bad ones I made, I put chorizo in them. They just were not any good and no one else liked them either. I even scrape the gills out of mine to make a bigger hole for more stuffing. Great video.

I love mushrooms & I love crab. Pity crab is SO EXPENSIVE but I just may have to give this a go. Try stuffing your mushrooms with diced clams. OMG … so, so delicious. Enjoy 🙂

in the words of slim pickens in blazing saddles, "you use your tongue better than a $20 hooker!" love the simple, practical, entertaining, succinct description! though a bit more decadent than i like (yeah, i'm one of THOSE but NOT on the crab! fell in love with the disdain for imitation crab!!! that's like kissin your sister, does NOTHING for me.) the mechanics are PERFECT and i will modify as needed! thanx so much man for taking the time to post and NOT boring us and wasting time making us watch the ENTIRE process and telling boring stories! now THIS is the new product review technique. best to ya.
