    You are exactly right. I have a KK 42. After 5 cooks I was ok. Pizza was my first as well at 500.

    I have never destroyed the food once in mine. My worst cook was still great.

    KK’s make you a better cook that you really are. Feels like cheating.

    I’m at 120-125 cooks now. I don’t need the electrics/fans to regulate the temps. They are handy-I have them, stopped using them.

    Practice, practice, after enough time you’ll learn what setting the vents need to get what temp you want. And how big of a fire to build based on the cook.
