I love your recipes and you definitely changed the way I smoke brisket for the better…but, Im confused of the use of the beans/pie weights in this recipe….its not a classic pie crust just a crumb/butter mixture…it doesnt need weights or beans because there is nothing to rise or bubble up, which is the point of pie weights….so, anyone have any insight into this?
Tom you should try an Amish paradise pie. Oreo cookie crust, brownie custard, and a chocolate chip heath bar cookie crumble and dulce de Leche drizzle. My treat
