Budget Meals! Eating cheap but eating good food made at home!! Cheaper and healthier than Dollar Tree food!! Enjoy!
You are chef John
"Homegrown, fresh, store-bought garlic. Straight from the jar!” ???
We're on a budget right now so thank you for sharing this. I'm gonna try cooking this on Thursday. Not only it's cheap but also healthy.
This looks good! I always add my garlic about 1 to 2 minutes before the dish is done. It gets a little bitter if you cook it too much
My stir fry sauce is soy sauce and corn starch 50/50 ratio. Gotta be la choy soy sauce.
I agree and I can’t wait to try this recipe ??
I thought all beef and broccoli was Chinese food. OOHHH, WAIT….. CHICKEN and broccoli, I've never even heard of that except in Chinese food and even then they put a bunch of other vegetables in there too.
I love that stuff but the vegetables should be cooked enough to eat so that they're not raw and the sauce should have some Sweetness in it. Real and good Chinese food is incredible, even all the carrots and veggies taste sweet and delicious, even the celery tastes great. I can't find a good Chinese restaurant because I live in Racine Wisconsin and it's a ghetto town.
I love how you flashed a picture of "my dung" when you mentioned sketchy Chinese places lol
Use half soy sauce and half corn starch for my stir fry sauce
What sauce are you using?????
Yes it is delicious as long as we buy ALL the ingredients. then you are sure what's in it. Take heed folkes
Nice job , admire the honesty, and the funny comments, have four boys and they'll eat everything, teens. Lol
Typically in chinese stir-fry dishes, marinating the meat in whatever sauces you're using rather than pouring from the bottle into the pan as your stirring producing better results.
One way to improve this recipe would be to marinate the chicken after dicing it with that stir fry sauce and maybe even some sugar, and then pour less into the pan later.
This is insane. I love how you can make food like this for nothing….
Larry since you are trying to encourage people to eat well on a budget you need to remind them not to buy expensive chicken breast tenders. Buy whole bone in skin on and carve it yourself, if knife skills elude you, then buy whole boneless breasts. The tenderloins you show are the most expensive chicken cut.
lol "no!/ we no see/ cat of yours/ no more ask please" lmao that is the perfect humorous response without taking things too seriously. Almost like a Japanese haiku. I used to get asked about all the time as a kid. Wish I came up with that. PS Your takeout-style meal looks rock-solid.
Marinate your chicken in egg whites and a little corn starch for juicier more tender chicken with that Chinese restaurant texture.
when i lived in Tempe I was only able to get food from the dollar store. Someone had stolen our car and being 12 I couldn't figure out the bus system. But idk. I was under some pretty bad circumstances.
This can really help people out and looks so good. Gonna try this out thank you
Only thing I would change is using two bottles of sauce, love my sauce. (and sub brown rice)
"Did u know that pretty things taste better?"
I see u there ????
why does it sound like he always asks a question when he talks? lol
I cook this today lol
This would come out a lot better if you simply didn't over crowd the pan and got it ripping hot. The browning you would get would make it a lot better, an your sauce wouldn't be so wet
