As most of you already know my local Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, Dollar General or Walmart stores are my own personal adult playgrounds. I shop at these stores to find food that is generally highly processed, full of fillers and simply bad for us to eat regularly! Meat, vegetables, canned food, frozen food, refrigerated food, boxed food, vegan food, vegetarian food and all sorts of prepared foods, if it’s cheap and questionable I will do a taste test and food review on it! I also show you these foods are no bargain like these discount stores and manufacturers lead you to believe. I do this to show you that fresh foods are not only healthier, but they’re also cheaper than these so called bargain foods. So far I haven’t gotten sick, but some of these foods are certainly questionable and have come close to making me sick.

I retched, heaved and scrambled my eggs all over the kitchen floor so YOU, THE PEOPLE, WOULDN'T HAVE TO!
What's next? Great Value Century eggs?
Okay, it's just a couple of these videos have been getting obnoxiously sick, ridiculous, disturbing and revolting. Is there anything upsetting you that you would like to talk about? China is still a third world country for a reason.
(pretended like your Andrew zimerman) more like bear grills
Check out Mikey Chen's channels he mainly eats but also has some Chinese delicacy cooking videos. In China they now have fake eggs and eggs don't travel well long distance as it is hard to keep a stable temperature while making long journeys. Recipes are less vulnerable.
I don't like that people are eating duck eggs!! But I still love your channel
If you making some soy sauce with minced ginger and dips eggs with the sauce, it’s delicious
They are “pickled” raw
Why tea leaves?
饮食文化不同
This has been a question I have had for a while it seems the way you grasp and hold things like you don't have full use of your hands.
next.. BALUT! I''m not sure you can get it mailed. God, I hope not.
I went to the Philippines I had a blue egg they are delicious it taste just like a fucking hard boiled egg you should try it and stop being a coward
Why the fk would they make this lol
I get my eggs from Sprout’s Market…Organic, Free Range, Cage free…hard boiled, they are great.
I understand the plastic utensils. His wife prob def doesn’t favor some of this food on her utensils.
Traditionally century eggs were made by preserving chicken or duck eggs in a mixture of salt, lime and ash, then wrapping in rice husks for several weeks. During this time the pH of the egg raises transforming the egg, the chemical process breaks down some of the proteins and fats into smaller, more complex flavours.
You are not supposed to eat them like that! You put in in rice porridge called changes made with ginger …. it’s the equivalent of drinking soy sauce you don’t just drink soy sauce.
Please try again chopped up in small pieces and mixed in with the congee.
I know this is an old thread. However I felt I just had to comment. I have been shopping at Asian markets for over 40 years. I have not tried The Salted eggs but I did try the hundred-year-old eggs. I will try almost anything once. I took one bite out of the egg, spit it out and threw the rest out. I have an open mind when it comes to food but my olfactory senses tells me this is a no-go. Beauty and delicacy is in the eye of the beholder. I will stick to pickled eggs. Keep up the good work!
you got bad batches
Dude no shit the salted egg is supposed to be eaten on the side with pourrage
Did you get sick from them
If only we can see his face during the reactions lmaooo
No way man! No fucking way.
Yum yum yum yum blah blah it looks like a hundred-year-old egg but I doubt it a true 100 year-old egg wow.
Chinese delicacies are fucking disgusting, scratch that. Asian delicacies in general are fucking disgusting.
Soooooo….. Did the guy unsubscribe?
Your best safest bet is to visit China or a good restaurant that serves them.
So, a hundred years ago, some Chinese company started storing eggs for 2019?
I was curious what a pickled egg is but it turns out I’ve been eating them my whole life.
I have no idea if they are cooked or not, but there is zero chance of salmonella or food safety issues if stored properly.
The salted ducked eggs are delicious. You are meant to eat flakes of it with a big bowl of rice.
The salted egg you had looked messed up, they look much more like the picture. Also, you are a massive piece of it.
I’ve had many century eggs in porridge. When I don’t look at them they are a lot like hard boiled eggs.
I eat those black eggs all the time. They taste quite nice but I never knew they would last an century so that’s an plus. Great prepper food for Asians or whatever likes em.
I often eat them in pork and preserved egg congee. They taste really good like that
The salted duck eggs are bad. Super salty.
None of these needs to be refrigerated. Unless you open them… then maybe refrigerate
The Century egg is supposed to be eat with something not bi its self
Please add your dry heaves into your videos. I dont know why but other people dry heaving makes me laugh everytime!
Did the plastic knife subscriber unsubscribe LOL?
That's a day's worth of sodium in one egg, yuck!
Unless a hard-boiled egg is cooked correctly it will always be fubar getting it out of the shell!
It'd be interesting to know one of these people that would find these appetizing and whether or not they are crazy stupid or both?
You are the man, thanks for reviewing.??
Try putting baking soda in the water u put the shelled eggs in. makes em easier to peel!…great vid larry!
