I like to eat the crispy noodles out of the can. Also, I buy a large can of canned white chicken chunks and add it to the vegetables and dark meat. And cook white rice separately.
That looks absolutely disgusting and nothing like the chow mein I know of at least from South China
? = ???
I think , You can call Yourself lucky if you ate that and you are still alive ??????☠️☠️?????????????????
I, regularly purchased this and perpetrated this product (Shrimp version) back in the '90 it's not as good as it was then and there wasn't that much sodium either
…and why why would anyone buy this when for the same money you could get actual Chinese take-out?!
I used to be excited to have it as a kid too, then my mom learned how to cook Chinese food from scratch and we never looked back LOL
hey wolfe pit – fuck you asshole! this shit is very very good!!!
It used to be passable back when Chun King still existed. Now it’s just bad. Also, I used to eat Chun king mini egg rolls that looked like Pizza rolls and those were popular and discontinued! Should have gotten rid of this instead
You made me laugh so bad talking about the feet smell you are so funny and like the way you talk so cool
Larry that looks wrong…..dont eat it!!!! Don't eat the feet!!!!
opinion: I am eating the vegetable chow Mein on rice with crinkles right now….and like you said I do not remember it tasting this bad.
It tastes like a marsh or swamp….and it's quite salty. Unless I was starving to death I would never buy this again.
Larry, my mother used to buy the vegetable chow mein (no meat) and add a can of drained tuna to it. She would add some soy sauce to it and it was fantastic. The problem is that they quit making the vegetable only version. I tried to duplicate what my mother made, using chicken chow mein, but it wasn't the same. I wish that they would make the vegetable chow mein again and thus allow me to add my own meat. I don't buy it anymore because they ruined the experience. Surely they could make a tuna chow mein version if they're not willing to bring back the vegetable version. Can you help me out here Larry?
People afraid of salt criticize but then go get McDonalds fries derp
Grew up with chow mein sandwiches in the Salem Willows in Salem Massachusetts. Never tried it out of a can though.
I eat the la choy beef and chicken chow mein all the time!
Bruh this shit is hilarious. ?
I never had that thank you dor the video. Now I won't waste my money
wtf is that lol
This was my grandma's favorite, haven't had it in YEARS. Makes me miss her like crazy
I tried these once as a child, but my childhood was in the 2000s and even though I probably was far less picky than I am now: I remember that Chow Mein was the WORST Chinese food I have ever eaten and I hated them back then too. The only decent part was the noodles which is probably why they're used in salads.
My guess is that like a lot of things, the quality of the product was much higher when you ate it 30 years ago.
