It used to be passable back when Chun King still existed. Now it’s just bad. Also, I used to eat Chun king mini egg rolls that looked like Pizza rolls and those were popular and discontinued! Should have gotten rid of this instead

opinion: I am eating the vegetable chow Mein on rice with crinkles right now….and like you said I do not remember it tasting this bad.
It tastes like a marsh or swamp….and it's quite salty. Unless I was starving to death I would never buy this again.

Larry, my mother used to buy the vegetable chow mein (no meat) and add a can of drained tuna to it. She would add some soy sauce to it and it was fantastic. The problem is that they quit making the vegetable only version. I tried to duplicate what my mother made, using chicken chow mein, but it wasn't the same. I wish that they would make the vegetable chow mein again and thus allow me to add my own meat. I don't buy it anymore because they ruined the experience. Surely they could make a tuna chow mein version if they're not willing to bring back the vegetable version. Can you help me out here Larry?

I tried these once as a child, but my childhood was in the 2000s and even though I probably was far less picky than I am now: I remember that Chow Mein was the WORST Chinese food I have ever eaten and I hated them back then too. The only decent part was the noodles which is probably why they're used in salads.
