Char Siu – Chinese BBQ Chicken – Chinese Grilled Chicken Recipe
The Wolfe Pit makes Char Siu or Chinese BBQ Roast Chicken. This simple yet extremely flavorful chicken, start off with dark meat chicken marinated in soy, hoisin, Shaoxing Wine, Chinese Five Spice Powder and Red Fermented Bean Curd for 6-12 hours. Then it is slow roasted indirectly using hardwood charcoal. The finished product is tender, juicy and exploding with flavor. Eat as is or add to your fried rice, egg rolls or other favorite Chinese Recipe.
