    Quick tip: You can also mix the dry corn starch into your brown sauce before adding it to the cooked chicken and vegetables. That way, you save a step and it also doesn't diminish the flavor of your brown sauce, even in the slightest. Nice looking dish.

    doesn't the cashew get soggy from cooking in the liquid? I've attempted cashew chicken once, and thats what happened. Next time I will try first frying the cashews in oil for a bit to drive off moisture, then setting them aside and adding them back at the very end, after the sauce has been thickened. Not sure if that will work out, but it's what I'm thinking of trying

    Made this last night. Absolutely delicious. I didn't change anything about this recipe except the sugar : 2tbs only. I didn't have any red pepper so I've added a large red onion. Thank you very much for sharing. 🙂
