Love the metal guitar. Good recipe too.
I'm from thomasville N.C. and I love me some nc style bbq. Smoking a shoulder right now.
Say no to vinegar crap on pork!
Some folks talk about the time it takes. Thats the point. Kick back with your buds and make it an event. Back up the truck n crank some Hank, 2 or 12 budskies, jump in the pond, life is good.
This is porno for hungry NC country boys. Yum Yum.
You need to be making some more BBQ videos, after this much time it's OK to recycle or update some recipes because a lot of your viewers have never seen your old videos.
Damn wolfpit! That looks amazing!
Damn that looks good !!!
Thank you for sharing your experience and information about Eastern North Carolina Barbeque .
I'm from Nansemond County, Virginia and this is what we know as BBQ. It's still my favorite! Thanks for the vid!
This is how it’s done!
Hush puppies, potato salad and some sugar soaked in iced tea and you're at Smithfields………
Rocky Mount NC dropping by to show love!!
That looks so good! Every time I go to Lewiston and Windsor North Carolina I always get a couple of chopped barbeque sandwiches and hot dogs with chili and coleslaw. I haven't been back down south in a long time.
You need Carolina Reaper Powder to appreciate a Carolina Burger..
Not quite as good as being "down home",,,, but damm close
Black pepper NO RED PEPPER YES
brown sugar? I think not
Damn dude.. I wasn’t hungry when I started watching this but now I’m fiending! I may be a New York guy, but my stomach is from NC. I much prefer the tangier vinegar-based bbq than the sweeter stuff. When I first had your style of bbq, it was a game changer! Anyway, great work man.
Yessir!!!
can you do this with a pork loin?
I presently live in the DMV-(D.C. Metro area) right now, but ya,ll got me feeling so homesick right now, wanna go home but everybody that loved me are gone, God bless whoever posted this, you brought a smile and precious memories to this country boy.
I was born and raised in Lumberton, N.C., and my grandpa raised hogs for a living, whole hog chopped up like this is the only way I know!!!
I'm blowing you up I'm sure. GOD I wish I was your kid ect…. lol
I have a traeger with apple wood pellets would it work just as well?
I can hear Alton Brown now… "Just walk away…"
Why didnt you use the rendered fat for anything?? i would have poured a little bit in to the meat or is the sandwhich
Looks guud sir
Wolf Pit I'm from Eastern NC but I live in San Diego now. Let me tell you that you were spot on with that Carolina Chopped Pork. Outstanding video
great review. i cant help but to wonder if you could go all out and make from scratch the same meal.
OMG YUM
So delicious! I grew up on that vinegar pepper sauce and pull pork in South Carolina. Nothing like it!!
Nice!
Too much work!
I am crying with tears of joy and sadness. Living on the West Coast now, I MISS NC BBQ, people out here try to copy NC BBQ and they fail so hard, THIS IS HOW IT IS DONE, GREAT VIDEO… you're doing the Lord's Work
Hey Mr Wolfe, Thanks, this is the real deal!!!!!
I followed your recipe. I used a 22.5 Weber grill with Kingsford charcoal briquettes in the "snake method " and chunks of Hickory wood on the charcoal.I haven't been to NC in a while, so I make my(your) BBQ.
Hey Larry, a BIG thumbs up on this one! Looks incredible!
Ted
Love it!
– Derek from Snow Hill NC
